I haven’t posted anything since April for some good reasons. I was in school for two months doing my electrical apprenticeship studies and I bought a house recently and moved in a couple weeks ago. I have only managed to unpack one of my totes (Nikki has managed to unpack pretty much all of hers.)
Getting ready for a trip to Newfoundland to see my parents in 2.5 weeks (hopefully I can get some decent photos while I’m there.)
Also starting a new job the day after I get back from The Rock.
With all this going on I haven’t had much time to take any pictures. Still trying to get some ready for a friend of Nikki’s and also have to look at a couple of her nephew I took a week before the move.
Many times I have been sitting around wondering what I could do as a photography project. I always find it so hard to come up with ideas. Here is a link that will supply you with randomly generated inspirational ideas.
Looks like I’ll be having a two month timeout from anything photography. I started my second year of electrical classroom training last week and the workload is already getting too heavy. Until I finish in another seven weeks there won’t be too many posts on my blog and probably even less photos than I usually post (which isn’t very much anymore.)
Another excellent website with descriptions and images of how the shots were taken. I really love when people post how to accomplish a shot using pictures (they are worth a thousand words afterall.) You can visit Lighting Essentials for Photographers right here.
A great little video describing what depth of field is and how to achieve different affects using it. Perfect for beginners. Visit ArticlePhotography.com for more tips and techniques.
The Fine Art Photoblog is a unique website dedicated to collectors and admirers of fine art photography. The site is something of a mix between art gallery, photoblog, and search engine.
